Digital Photography
Here is a selection of my digital photography work created for high school and college classes. Some of my work includes digital and physical manipulation of the photographs, and some are pulled right from the camera with only small adjustments made in an editing program.

"Head in the Clouds"

A series of images created to represent different phrases or idioms in the English language.

"The Journey"
This photo was created in response to the prompt of making a make-believe scene believable. I chose to create a scene showing an explorer venturing to an unknown destination in the flower pot.

The criteria for these projects were to use appropriation to recreate a dream or a memory. For the left image, I recreated a dream my friend experienced about God getting them addicted to opioids. The right image I chose to recreate a previous work I did in my first photography class.

"Light"

A project that was based on the idea of creating photographs where light was the main subject. Each photo had to be created with the most important element being light itself.

"Imitation"
Each student was assigned some work of art to recreate in our own way with the use of photography. I recreated the image below, which was titled Self-Portrait with Halo and Snake by Paul Gaugin.

Here is another image I recreated. The original is called The Song of Love by Giorgio de Chirico. I decided to use materials and a model that matched the original, but took the photo in one shot rather than editing all the elements together later.

These two works were created by projecting floral patterns onto the subject. They also happen to be self portraits.

AP Photography
Each of the photographs in this section were created for the high school class AP Photography and were submitted to the AP Board for grading. I received a 4 for my work. The idea behind each piece was to look past what was physically there to see something more.
